Description

Streamline

The design of the SF2 is clear and straightforward.
The carbon tubes offer maximum load capacity with a meager weight (Stripped, it’s only 25 lbs and therefore extremely travel-friendly).
The water is excellently balanced and guarantees an optimal water position. Counter or trim weights are
not necessary.

Easy to use

The SF2 ECCR can be prepared for a dive within minutes with no tools needed! The carbon tubes can
be easily disassembled; therefore, all critical areas are accessible to the diver.

The same applies to care after diving. Both take only a few minutes each.

Electronic chamber

The electronic chamber is the heart of the SF2. Here are the O2 sensors, the oxygen magnet, and the
battery compartment. Below the battery compartment is the control board, which is completely
encapsulated. The O2 sensors are located in a separate chamber to protect them from moisture. High-quality cables and SMB angle plugs connect the board to the sensors.

Counterlung

A unique system combined with a particular position is a combination that offers only advantages. The SF2
ECCR has a bellows system protected by the lower carbon tube. The counter lung is, therefore, inside and
cannot be damaged, and it does not matter if the diver dips through the tightest restriction in a cave or
is inside a wreck.

Despite the unusual position, the SF2 ECCR offers excellent breathing comfort. The WOB tests of the CE
certification are rigorous: The SF2 ECCR has passed all tests in all positions excellently. The tests were
also carried out in Germany at DEKRA. Again, no cheap "compromises" were made. The internal counterlung is one reason for the streamlined structure of the SF2 ECCR. The lower the water resistance, the more comfortable diving is – a factor
that any diver appreciates, not just technical divers.

Scrubber

The canister has a capacity of 2.2 kg and an axial design. As with the sensors, the positioning also plays
a decisive role in the canister. There is a distance of about 5 mm between the canister and the outer carbon tube, so there is no direct contact with cold water. Temperature is another decisive factor for the efficient use of lime.
The gas flow is added in as support. Warm exhalation air flows around the sorb canister and is thus heated. Small details make a big difference!

Manual Add & Offboard Gas Kits

The possibility of manual control is one of the
essential redundancy strategies in rebreather diving.
With the SF2 ECCR, the manual controls have been
deliberately separated into oxygen and diluent.
Intuitive operation in stressful situations is highly
prioritized, and confusion is virtually ruled out.
External gas can also be fed via the Manual Adds –
another important redundancy factor. With the
external gas connected, the complete functionality of
the SF2 ECCR is retained. The solenoid valve and the
ADV are still in "automatic mode."
Since the SF2 ECCR has two manual add-ons, they
even offer redundancy against each other in extreme
cases. SAFETY AND COMFORT!
